What We Believe
Core Beliefs
At Message Tabernacle Ministries, our faith is founded upon the Holy Bible. We believe it to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe that the Scriptures contain God’s complete revelation for humanity. They serve as the final authority for doctrine, faith, and Christian living.
Our beliefs are rooted in the message that calls believers back to the original apostolic Christianity of the early church. It emphasizes a life of obedience to God’s Word. It also involves preparation for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible as the Final Authority
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and the ultimate authority for doctrine and Christian life.
No church tradition, creed, or human teaching should override the Scriptures. Every doctrine and teaching must be tested by the Word of God.
Our guiding principle is summarized in the statement:
“We have no book but the Bible.”
The Restoration of the Original Church
We believe that over time, the original apostolic teachings of the early church were gradually lost. They were altered through the development of denominational traditions.
We believe that God promised to bring the church back to the true teachings of Scripture. This involves restoring the apostles’ original faith in the last days.
This restoration is reflected in the promise of the Scriptures:
- Malachi 4:5–6
- Acts 3:21
- Revelation 10:7
This work is often described as the restoration of the Word.
The Messenger to the Laodicean Church Age
We believe that the history of the Christian church is represented by seven church ages. These ages are described in the Book of Revelation chapters 2 and 3.
We believe that William Marrion Branham was the messenger to the final church age, the Laodicean Age. His ministry fulfilled the prophetic role of calling the church back to the original Word of God. This was to happen before the return of Jesus Christ.
His message emphasized repentance, restoration of biblical truths, and preparation of the Bride of Christ.
The One True God
We believe that there is one eternal God, the Creator of heaven and earth.
God has revealed Himself in different manifestations as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, yet He remains the one true God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead manifested in the flesh, as declared in Scripture:
“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
— Colossians 2:9
Water Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This follows the pattern established by the apostles in the early church.
This teaching is based on the example found in the Book of Acts:
- Acts 2:38
- Acts 8:16
- Acts 19:5
The Baptism of the Holy Ghost
We believe that believers should receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which empowers them to live victorious Christian lives.
The presence of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life produces spiritual fruit. It leads believers into obedience to the Word of God.
The Bride of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is calling out a Bride. This is a group of believers. They receive and live according to the full revealed Word of God for this age.
The Bride prepares herself through faith, obedience, and spiritual growth while waiting for the return of the Lord.
The Revelation of the Seven Seals
We believe that the Seven Seals described in Revelation chapters 6–8 reveal important mysteries. These mysteries concern God’s plan for His church and the end times.
These revelations help believers understand the unfolding of God’s redemptive plan and prepare the church for the coming of Christ.
Holiness and Christian Living
We believe that believers are called to live holy and separated lives, reflecting the character of Jesus Christ.
Christian living should demonstrate:
- humility
- modesty
- moral integrity
- obedience to the Word
- strong family values.
Our faith should be visible in the way we live and interact with others.
Divine Healing
We believe that divine healing is part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God continues to heal according to His will.
Healing is made possible through the redemptive work of Christ and remains a testimony of God’s power and compassion.
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the literal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
At His coming:
- The dead in Christ will rise
- Living believers will be changed
- The Bride will meet the Lord.
This promise encourages believers to live in readiness and faithfulness.
Living a Life of Impact and Preparation
We believe that the Christian life should be lived with purpose and influence. Believers are called to live lives that reflect the love and character of Christ.
We encourage every believer to strive to:
- make themselves better through spiritual growth
- make their families better through love and biblical principles
- make their communities better through service and integrity
- make their generation better by standing for truth and righteousness
- make the world better through faith and the demonstration of Christ’s love
In doing so, we live faithfully while waiting for the return of the Lord or our appointed day of glory.
Our Commitment
At Message Tabernacle Ministries, we are committed to building a church community that honors the Word of God. We encourage spiritual growth. We also prepare believers for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our desire is to walk in truth, live in holiness, and share the light of the Gospel with the world.
