What a Sunday Looks Like at Message Tabernacle

A Sunday at Message Tabernacle is not just a service—it is a carefully ordered spiritual experience, designed to prepare hearts, nurture every age group, and transform lives.

The doors of the church are opened promptly at 9:30 AM, setting the atmosphere in readiness for the arrival of the brethren and sisters at 10:00 AM. From that moment until 10:30 AM, soft instrumental gospel music fills the sanctuary, creating a quiet, reverent environment. During this time, believers kneel in personal prayer, seeking the face of God, laying down burdens, and aligning their hearts for the service.

At the same time, Sunday School is in session, where our young ones are taught the ABC of Christian life, Kingdom living, and the Bride message. Through structured teaching, scripture, and guidance, they are grounded early in truth and prepared to grow into strong believers.

At 10:25 AM, the music and worship ministry gathers with the minister for a moment of consecration—praying together for the anointing and guidance to lead the congregation into true worship.

By 10:30 AM, the service begins. The music ministry leads the church into vibrant praise, heartfelt worship, and collective prayer. Songs often reflect a rich blend of American, African, and Hispanic influences, creating a unified expression of faith across cultures. The atmosphere becomes alive with testimonies, special songs from individuals and the choir, and moments of intercessory prayer as the congregation stands together for submitted needs.

At 11:15 AM, the minister takes the pulpit to deliver an anointed message—one that speaks directly to the heart, challenges the believer, and prepares the church to live as true Christians, kingdom citizens, and a ready Bride. The preaching is met with a living response— “Amen,” “Praise the Lord,” and “Hallelujah”—as the Word resonates deeply within the congregation.

The service concludes with an altar call or prayer line, where individuals can receive personal prayer and spiritual support, followed by important announcements.

After the formal service, the fellowship continues. There are often small celebrations, such as birthdays, and at times an Agape fellowship, where believers break bread together in unity and love.
